These examinations are used to assess an applicant’s ability to meet the current registration requirements and standards for practice in BC. In order to fulfill the College’s obligation to ensure public safety, successful completion of these examinations is required of all applicants for registration. Please see General Information regarding RDT Registration for more information about the licensure examinations.
If you are interested in working in a dental laboratory and have not acquired the necessary education or are waiting for the completion of your DT registration, you may do so by registering as a Dental Technician Assistant.

When all required documentation is received by the College, registration applications can take 1 to 3 weeks to process based on the type of registration applied for.
