To ensure that British Columbians are receiving safe, effective and ethical service, all applicants must have a thorough understanding of the provincial legislation that governs their profession. The Jurisprudence Exam must be completed by all registration candidates. The exam covers the Health Professions Act, Dental Technicians Regulation and CDTBC Bylaws.
The Jurisprudence Exam is organized into three parts:
1. True/False Questions
2. Multiple Choice Questions
3. Short Paragraph Answer Questions
The exam is a registration requirement and candidates must achieve a score of 65% or higher to proceed with the registration process.
