To ensure that British Columbians are receiving safe, effective and ethical service, all applicants must have a thorough understanding of the provincial legislation that governs their profession.  The Jurisprudence Exam must be completed by all individuals applying for registration as a Dental Technician.  The exam covers the Health Professions ActDental Technicians Regulation and CDTBC Bylaws.

The Jurisprudence Exam is organized into two parts:
1. 30 True/False Questions
2. 20 Multiple Choice Questions

Completion of the exam is a mandatory registration requirement and candidates must achieve a score of 65% or higher to proceed with the registration process.
