Notice of Un-authorized Practice

posted on May 14, 2019

The College of Dental Technicians of British Columbia (the “College”) recently completed an investigation into an allegation of unauthorized practice of dental technology by Mr. Alexander Bublitski. During the course of the investigation, the College discovered evidence indicating that Mr. Bublitski, doing business as Alex Dental Arts or Alex Dental Lab, was providing dental technology services to dentists in B.C. between at least June 2015 and September 2018.

Mr. Bublitski is not, and never has been a registrant of this College in any registration class. As such, his practice of dental technology is a breach of the Health Professions Act and the Dental Technicians Regulation.

Please contact the College immediately if you have any information regarding Mr. Bublitski continuing to practice dental technology and/or operate Alex Dental Arts or Alex Dental Lab.

As required by the Health Professions Act, a Public Register is available through a link on this website which lists all individuals who are registered with this College along with their registration class. Only registrants of the College are authorized to practice dental technology in British Columbia, either independently as a Registered Dental Technician (“RDT”), or as a Dental Technician Student or Dental Technician Assistant while under the direct supervision of an RDT.
