Inquiry Committee

The Inquiry Committee deals with complaints regarding registrants.  Upon receipt of a written complaint, the committee has the authority to investigate the following matters:

  • contravention of the Act, the Regulation or the Bylaws:
  • failure to comply with a limit or condition imposed under this Act, the Regulation or the Bylaws;
  • professional misconduct;
  • a physical or mental ailment, an emotional disturbance, or an addition to alcohol or drugs that impairs a registrant's ability to practice the designated profession.

Committee meetings are closed to the public.  Registrants may forward their written comments to any Board or Committee member by addressing their concerns to that member c/o the College office.  All material received related to committee matters is forwarded to the attention of the appropriate committee.
